IIT JEE pattern might change again in 2014

While IIT’s have accepted the two-tier examination for 2013, JEE Main along with Class 12th performance as a prelim examination and then JEE Advanced for shortlisting students for the admission into IIT’s, Reportedly Human Resources Development ministry is forming a new committee under the leadership of Dr. CRN Rao to study all the issues related to conducting a single examination for all the engineering colleges in the country.

The decision of a separate committee follows IIT-Kanpur’s resolution in the senate meeting last week wherein it felt the need for a broad-based study taking all aspects into consideration to decide the nature of the entrance test for 2014 and beyond.Reportedly, for JEE 2014 and further the committee will study all aspects raised by different IITs and arrive at recommendations for the pattern of JEE 2014.

Reportedly Committee headed by Dr.CRN Rao will consitute of IIT Faculty.

This is adding insult to injury for the 2013 batch. This gift to them is in addition to all the torture and uncertainty they are going thru throughout the year. Doesn’t the 2013 batch deserve the benefits of the "broad-based study taking all aspects into consideration"? It’s ok for them to sit for an exam where 'no aspect is taken into consideration? I’m totally speechless at the insensitivity of the IITs and the HRD towards the 2013 batch.
