How would you rate these books
Ncert AND R.D SHARMA
HALL AND KNIGHT
COORDINATE GEOMETRY SL LONEY
TRIGO -PLANE TRIGONOMETRY SL LONEY
FOR PRACTICE – ERRORLESS VOLUME 1 AND VOLUME 2
Physics NCERT HC VERMA ARIHANT (DC PANDEY)
NCERT AND PRADEEPS (FOR BASICS)
AND FOR IIT LEVEL OP AGGARWAL
and Besides all this MY FIITJEE STUDY MATERIAL
Is this enough for cracking iit?
1 more question i personally feel that mechanics DC pandey is better than HC VERMA (even though everyone says hc verma is must for iit) because DC pandey includes quality problems from hc verma plus it has aieee and iit questions seprate section good theory and introductory exercise
Am i right?
DC Pandey is best for basics. My suggestion is its better to practise problems instead of reading the same concept from each and every book. All books you mentioned are good but don’t follow more than one for one subject. Instead you can practise solving problems from all.
Practising more number of problems and learning the concept is more important to crack JEE.
All the best
Never go by books. Books are like shoes. Just because you wear the shoes of a fast runner doesn’t mean you will run fast.
That being said, you list is quite long. If you can get through them sincerely, it would be more than enough. However, always remember, going through 2 books properly is far better than going through 10 books roughly.
hey Saurabh these books are more than enough for JEE .
Up to my knowledge FIITJEE study material is best for JEE,
because FIITJEE faculty prepare this materials using the best books for IITJEE . 2.
2.It has variety of question ,
3.all topics covered ,
4.each topic explained clearly .
Physics is about thinking and visualizing. Not meaning to take a dig at Arihant’s Mechanics by D.C.Pandey, but, it spoon-feeds the students by pouring in tons of formulas and deluding the students into believing that Physics is all about problem-solving through formulas. Whereas Concepts of Physics by H.C.Verma helps one in understanding the concepts by reasoning and on the exams perspective too, the book is more than enough for solving problems in JEE. Also, it’s important to note that JEE is aimed at testing one’s thinking and reasoning abilities and not merely solving problems.
For maths apart from RD Sharma and NCERT your FITJEE material will be sufficient
For chemistry just concentrate mainly on NCERT things.THey are sufficient and if you need more you can practice your fitjee problems
For physics I would suggest you to do solve fitjee problems ( for typical qstions practice) NCERT ( for basics) and HC Verma for conceptual questions
