The complete list of MBBS entrance exams conducted in our country is as follows:
1. AIIMS Medical Entrance Exam:
All India Institute of Medical Sciences is one of the most prestigious medical institutions in India. It provides high standards of education. AIIMS Exam is held for the admission of students to the MBBS course offered by the institution. AIIMS, and especially AIIMS Delhi are the highest ranking medical colleges of the country. They are a source of quality and affordable healthcare to many thousands.
2. AIPMT exam (the erstwhile NEET UG Medical Entrance Exam):
NEET UG was supposed to replace the AIPMT but that is no longer the case. The AIPMT exam is possibly the largest medical exam in terms of number of students and seats. AIPMT is an Entrance Test for selection of candidates for admission to MBBS/BDS courses under 15% All India Quota seats in Government Medical/Dental colleges of India under the control of DGHS, Govt. of India except in the States of Andhra Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Telangana. The original idea was that the AIPMT would be the single unified exam for all colleges in the country, but not all the states have accepted the same. The states who have accepted for AIPMT 2015 are-

3. MANIPAL Medical Entrance Exam (Manipal- UGET):
This exam is conducted by the Manipal University, Karnataka for entrance into the MBBS and BDS courses offered by Kasturba Medical College, one of the top ten Medical Institute of India.
4. JIPMER MBBS entrance exam:
This All India Entrance exam is conducted by the Jawaharlal Institute of Post – Graduate Medical Education and Research for admission into the MBBS course offered by the same. JIPMER is one of the most prestigious and esteemed medical institutes in India. Only 100 seats are available and hence, only the best of best are chosen.
5. CMC Vellore Entrance Exam:
Christian Medical College and Hospital, Vellore(CMC Vellore) is the second best medical institute of India after AIIMS, Delhi. It conducts its own All India entrance exam every year to screen students for admission into the various UG medical courses offered by it.
6. CMC Ludhiana Entrance Exam:
This All India Entrance Exam is conducted by the Christian Medical College, Ludhiana for admitting students into the various UG courses offered by the institute- MBBS, BDS, B.Sc, Nursing and Bachelor of Physiotherapy. This exam is also known as UG-AWT( Under Graduate Admission Written Test).
7. Karnataka CET Medical Entrance Exam:
The Common entrance Test, Karnataka is an All India competitive exam held for the admission of students into MBBS and BDS courses in the state of Karnataka, which is one of the hottest Educational destinations in India.
8. EAMCET Medical Entrance Exam:
This exam is conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Government for admission into the Veterinary and Agriculture courses offered by various colleges across the state.
9. Amrita University MBBS Entrance Exam
Amrita University MBBS entrance exam is conducted for admission for 100 MBBS seats in the highly ranked Amrita University. The admission starts in the first week of March.
The five-and-a-half year program in Medicine, including a year of internship, involves both theory classes and practical sessions. Clinical exposure begins in the second year with classes conducted by clinical specialists emphasizing the relevance of the basic sciences to clinical practices.
10. AMU MBBS Entrance Exam
Aligarh Muslim University is also a leading university of the country and the AMU MBBS entrance exam is for admission to this reputed university.
13. Delhi University Pre-Medical Test (DPMT)
DP PMT is a national level entrance test conducted by Delhi University to select students for admission to MBBS and BDS courses offered by various medical colleges affiliated to the University of Delhi.
14. Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET)
It is a state-level exam conducted by The Education Department, Govt. of Gujarat. It is open for the candidates who belong to the state of Gujarat.
15. BHU All India PMT (BHU-PMT)
The BHU PMT including screening and main exam, is held annually for admission to UG medical courses of Benares Hindu University like MBBS, BDS, BAMS and B.Pharm. There are 84 seats in MBBS, 38 in BDS and 33 in B.Pharm.
16. Punjab Medical Entrance Test (PMET)
The PMET of the state of Punjab is conducted in the second week of May for admission to various medical, dental, Ayurvedic and homoeopathic colleges in Punjab.
