Read the passage given below:
Change in position of any object with respect to time is called motion. A body which does not move is said to be at rest or stationary. Motion of any object cannot change unless a force acts upon it, as we know all objects in this universe are in constant motion. Thus, motion is one of the important topics of Physics. Motions of different types such as uniform, non-uniform, periodic, linear, circular and rotatory motion. A motion with covers equal distances in equal intervals of time is called uniform motion. For a body to be in uniform motion it must move in a straight line. When a body moves in a circular path with uniform speed it is called uniform circular motion. When a body travels unequal distances in equal intervals of time, it is called non uniform motion.
