Some foods and drinks have sugar content in them. When we consume them, the acids are formed by bacteria act on sugars and soften or demineralize the enamel of the teeth. If not properly brushed and flossed, these acids can lead to tooth decay and cavity. So, brushing at night is more important. Brushing in the morning cleans away the bacteria that is accumulated overnight in the mouth.
