Embibe Content World

We cannot stress enough that banking exams hold a special place in the realm of Indian competitive exams—and for several compelling reasons. First and foremost, these banking exams offer job security that is highly sought after by many aspirants. Landing a government or public sector bank position often guarantees a stable career until retirement.

Alongside job security, banking roles come with attractive pay packages and many benefits, including medical insurance, pension schemes, and generous leave policies, making them financially rewarding. Furthermore, the structured promotion system in banks, based on experience and performance, paves the way for consistent career growth and advancement opportunities.

Now, several banks in India conduct various banking exams and offer lucrative perks and allowances, such as:

Banking exams open doors to a secure, rewarding, and esteemed career path—something that most aspirants look out for when looking for a job.

Upcoming Banking Exams 2023-24

Several banks in India tend to release recruitment advertisements during a fixed time period. For example, SBI releases notifications for PO in September every year—although nowhere is it written that this is fixed.

We have listed the upcoming banking exams 2023-2024 that candidates might be interested in knowing. Most of these exams feature the selection process of two stages, namely Preliminary (a.k.a. Prelims) and Main (a.k.a. Mains), while some might include an interview, too.

There will hardly be an offline exam because most bank exams include a computer-based test (CBT) as part of the selection process. Therefore, aspiring candidates should gear up for the test by taking the banking exam mock test series on Embibe.
