1– GATE– Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is conducted by IITs each year. It’s a national level exam that tests the knowledge and skills of a candidate for PG courses. Top GATE score can be a doorway to top colleges like IITs or NITs. This annual exam is conducted in online mode only. If you are looking for admission in a top M.Tech institute, it is mandatory for you to have a four years degree of B.tech or B.E.
2- IIT Delhi M.tech Entrance Exam– Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi M.Tech Entrance Exam (IIT Delhi M.Tech Entrance Exam) is a university-level exam. This exam is conducted annually by the Indraprastha Institute Of Information Technology, Delhi. IIT Delhi accepts M. tech admission into three specializations which are Computer and Science Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), and Computational Biology (CB). To be eligible for this examination for engineering, it is mandatory to have a PCM background with 60% marks or 6.0 CGPA in Graduation.
3- IITH PGEE– International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad Postgraduate Entrance Examination (IITH PGEE) is conducted by IITH, Hyderabad annually for admissions in M.Tech programs. It’s a university level exam which requires four years of B.Tech or B.E. degree to be eligible for engineering courses. The mode of this exam is online. Once a student finishes the exam, he or she will have to go through the offline counseling process to be selected for the admissions.
4- AP PGECET– Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP PGECET) is an annual examination which is conducted by Andhra University each year for the admissions in its M.Tech programs. The mode of this exam is Online whereas there will be a counseling process in online and offline mode both. After qualifying the counseling successfully the student will be selected for the admission.
5- SRMJEEE PG– SRM University is conducting this exam annually for the admissions in its M.Tech programs. Duration of this exam is 2.5 hours and it is mandatory to have a four years degree of B.E or B.tech with at least 50% of the aggregate marks. The mode of this exam is online and after the exam, the counseling process will be done in Offline mode. After qualifying the counseling process successfully, the student will be qualified for the admissions.
6- JNU CEE M.Tech– Jawahar Lal Nehru conducts Jawaharlal Nehru University Common Entrance Exam M.tech (JNU CEE M.tech) annually for the admissions in its M.tech programs. It is mandatory to score at least 55% marks in graduation with B.E. or B.tech specialization to be eligible for this examination. After qualifying the written exam, Candidates will have to attempt the counseling process. After the counseling, students will have to go through the document verification process.
7- TS PGECET– Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test is conducted by Osmania University. The controlling body of this exam is Telangana State Council of Higher Education. Mode of this exam is online and after the exam, candidates will have to go through the online counseling process. It is mandatory to score at least 50% in graduation with B.E. or B.Tech degree to be eligible for the exam.
8- Gujarat PGCET– Gujarat Post Graduation Common Entrance Test (Gujarat PGCET) is conducted by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses, Gujarat annually for the admissions in M.E or M.Tech courses. The duration of this exam is 1.5 hours and it is mandatory to score at least 50% marks with B.E. or B.tech degree to be eligible for this exam.
9- MET (M.tech)- Manipal Academy of Higher Education Online Entrance Test (MET) is being conducted annually by Manipal Institute of higher education (MAHE). For B.tech passed students, the duration of the exam is 2.3 hours. The exam mode is online while the validity of the result is only one year. It is mandatory to score at least 50% in graduation with B.E. or B.tech as the course to be eligible for this exam.
