Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the necessary eligibility criteria for RRB Non-Technical Popular Categories along with the awaited notification. A candidate must be either:

• A legal citizen of India, or
• A subject of Nepal, or
• A subject of Bhutan, or
• A refugee from Tibet who came over to India before January 1, 1962, intending to settle in India permanently, or
• A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zaire, Ethiopia, Zambia, Malawi, and Vietnam to settle in India permanently.
• Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (2), (3), (4) and (5) above shall be a person in whose favour an eligibility certificate has been issued by the Government of India. Education Qualification

Candidates who have passed class 12th or an undergraduate examination in any stream are eligible to apply for the exam.

Number of Attempts

There is no restriction on the number of attempts for the examination. A candidate can compete for any number of times as long as the age limit permits.

Language Proficiency

Hindi, English, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Marathi, Manipuri, Malayalam, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu will be used in the RRB NTPC Computer Based Tests.

Computer-based Aptitude Test (CBAT) for RRB NTPC CBT 2

Candidates must get a minimum score of 42 on each of the tests to be considered qualified. This applies to all candidates, regardless of community or category, and no exceptions to the minimum T-Score are allowed. Candidates must pass each of the CBAT test batteries in order to be considered for the position of SM/TA. Only English and Hindi will be available for questions and answers on the CBAT.
