How To Check RRB JE Result 2019?
The first stage of the selection process is the CBT I and candidates who are qualified in this round are eligible to appear for CBT II. Candidates can follow the steps as under to check their RRB JE result 2019:
- Step 1: Visit the official website of RRB region you applied for.
- Step 2: Click on the link provided to check the RRB Junior Engineer Results.
- Step 3: A PDF with the list of Registration Numbers of qualified candidates will open. Use “Ctrl + F” to search for your Registration Number. If it is there, you have qualified in the exam.

15 to 20 days after the release of RRB JE 2019 result, the officials will release the RRB JE 2019 scorecard. Follow the steps as under to download RRB JE scorecard 2019:

- Step 2: Click on the link provided to download the RRB Junior Engineer Scorecard.

RRB JE Result For CBT 1
The 1st stage CBT is of screening nature and the standard of questions for the CBT will be generally in conformity with the educational standards and/or minimum technical qualifications prescribed for the posts. The CBT 1 normalized score will be used for shortlisting aspirants for stage 2 or CBT 2 exam. The candidates will be shortlisted based on the merit list. Candidates who filled application form under reservation benefits can avail the same benefits throughout the recruitment process. Along with the release of RRB JE Recruitment Notification, the officials have also released the minimum passing percentage marks based on candidates category. The above eligibility percentage of marks will be relaxed by 2% for PwBD candidates in case of deficiency of PwBD candidates against vacancies reserved for them.
RRB JE Result 2019 – RRB JE Cutoff For CBT 1
Once the RRB JE CBT 1 Results are declared, the officials will also release the RRB Junior Engineer Cutoff. RRB JE Cutoff will be released in 4 stages – RRB JE CBT 1 Cutoff, RRB JE CBT 2 Cutoff, Document Verification Cutoff and Final Cutoff. RRB JE Result: Selection Procedure
The RRB JE selection procedure includes 3 stages. Candidates who are qualified in all these stages will get selected as Junior Engineer in Indian Railways. The three stages of RRB JE selection are listed below:
- Computer-Based Written Test (CBT I)
- Computer-Based Written Test (CBT II)
- Personal Interview & Document Verification & Medical Examination

RRB JE Result For CBT 2
Shortlisting of Candidates for the 2nd Stage CBT exam shall be based on the normalized marks obtained by them in the 1st Stage CBT Exam. Total number of candidates to be shortlisted for 2nd Stage shall be 15 times the community wise total vacancy of Posts notified against the RRB as per their merit in 1st Stage CBT. However, Railways reserve the right to increase/decrease this limit in total or for any specific category(s) as required to ensure the availability of adequate candidates for all the notified posts.
RRB JE Exam Pattern For CBT Stage 2
Candidates who qualify in Railway Junior Engineer Stage 1 examination will be eligible to appear for the Stage 2 exam. The RRB JE CBT 2 exam dates are yet to be released by the officials. RRB-wise shortlisting of candidates for 2nd Stage CBT shall be done at the rate of 15 times (may increase or decrease as per the requirement of Railway Administration) the available vacancies. The shortlisting of candidates for 2nd Stage CBT will be based on merit. The exam pattern for CBT Stage 2 is tabulated below:

RRB JE Result – RRB JE Document Verification
Shortlisting of Candidates for the DV shall be based on the normalized marks obtained by them in 2nd Stage CBT. The normalization scheme to be adopted for shortlisting the candidates from 1st Stage CBT to 2nd Stage CBT and for DV on the basis of performance in 2nd Stage CBT. Aspirants who are qualified in Railway Junior Engineer Stage 2 exam will be called for Document Verification followed by Medical Examination. Along with the Personal Interview, Document Verification will be carried out on the same day. Candidates must carry the following documents with them on the day of the interview:
- Matriculation/ High School Examination Certificate or Equivalent certificate
- Proof for Date of Birth and Matric qualification
- Diploma/ Degree Certificate
- Category Certificate
- Income Certificate for Waiving Examination Fee
- Medical Certificate for Persons with Disabilities (PWD)
- NOC from serving employees/ Ex-Servicemen
- Minority declaration on Non-judicial Stamp Paper
In case of two or more candidates securing same marks, their merit position shall be determined by age criteria i.e., older person shall be placed at higher merit and in case age being same, then alphabetical order (a to z) of the name shall be taken into account to break the tie.
RRB JE Medical Examination
The Railway Administration will conduct the medical examination for the candidates who are qualified in the previous stage, i.e. Personal Interviews. In this medical examination, they will test the candidates medically whether they are fit to carry out the duties in the Railways. Candidates who are successfully qualified in the medical examination will get their appointment letters in Indian Railways as Junior Engineers. Candidates called for DV will have to pass a requisite medical fitness test(s) conducted by the Railway Administration to ensure that the candidates are medically fit to carry out the duties connected with the post(s) opted by them. Visual Acuity Standard is one of the important criteria of medical fitness of railway staff.
