Given: Time (in hours) 5 10 15 20 Distance travelled by bike (in km) 200 400 600 800 We take the time taken to travel (in hrs) on X-axis with a scale of 2 cm = 5 hour s We take distance travelled on Y-axis with a scale 2 cm = 200 kms . From the given data, it takes 5 hrs to travel 200 kms Hence, we need to plot ( 5 , 200 ) on the graph. To plot ( 5 , 200 ) we locate 5 on X-axis and 200 on Y-axis. A point of intersection of vertical perpendicular drawn on 5 of X-axis and horizontal perpendicular drawn on 200 of Y-axis is ( 5 , 200 ) . Similarly, we plot remaining data. We draw segments joining consecutive plotted points. They form one line. Therefore, the graph is linear.

Temperature-time graph as shown below, We observed that, temperature from 0 minutes to 18 minutes is increasing rapidly. The temperature at 18 minutes and 20 minutes is same and constant. Hence, after 18 minutes the temperature remains constant.
