About Exam

The Goa Common Entrance Exam or GCET is a state-level exam conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education Goa. The authorities conduct the exam every year tentatively in the month of May 2023. The exam provides various Engineering and Pharmacy degree programs available in the private and government colleges of Goa.

GCET Eligibility Criteria 2023

Exam Syllabus

The authorities releases the eligibility criteria on the official website. Candidates appearing for the exam must know the eligibility requirements to avoid rejecting their application form. The following section provides the eligibility criteria for GCET 2023:

GCET Age Criteria

The minimum age to appear for the GCET examination is 17 years. Students should be more than 17 years, and there is no specified maximum age to apply for GCET 2023.

GCET Education Qualification

The following are the educational requirements candidates must fulfil to appear for GCET:

  • Candidates should have cleared the higher secondary school examination of the Goa board.
  • Or an examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, or any other examination equivalent to the HSSC examination of Goa Board.
  • They must also have acquired the minimum percentage of marks in the specific subjects.

To appear for the GCET 2023, candidates must first register themselves. The registration process for GCET 2023 will begin on May 27, 2023, and till June 10, 2023. To do so, candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps:

GCET Admit Card 2023

Eligibility Criteria

The admit card for the GCET exam will be accessible tentatively in the third week of June 2023 until the exam date. To download admit cards, candidates must provide their login credentials. GCET Result 2023

Cut off

The GCET 2023 results will be available online in PDF format on the official website. Candidates’ roll numbers and subject-wise marks will be available in the results. The official website will also publish the GCET merit list. Candidates who are shortlisted in the merit list will be called for GCET Counselling. The seats will be assigned based on the candidate’s ranking.

Exam Result

The DTE Goa will first publish the preliminary GCET merit list online, which will be available for challenges for a predetermined time. The combined Physics and Mathematics scores of candidates will be used to create the GCET merit list. The final merit list for the GCET will be published after consideration of the challenges raised by candidates.

GCET Counselling 2023

DTE, Goa, will announce the GCET counselling process offline. There will be two stages in the counselling process. Candidates must first complete the registration process and then choose their college. Counselling is solely dependent on a candidate’s rank.
