Once the exam is completed, the tentative GCET 2022 merit list will be released. The tentative merit list for GCET 2022 includes the candidates’ ranks, as well as their 12th grade and GCET 2022 results. The GCET Counselling shortlisted applicants will be chosen from the GCET merit list 2022.
Event | Details |
---|---|
Medical Course | On the basis of the candidate’s GCET 2022 scores, authorities in authority will compile a merit list for admissions to MBBS, BDS, BHMS (Homoeopathy), BAMS (Ayurveda), AHS, B.V.Sc and A.H, and Nursing. |
Bachelor of Engineering | The candidate’s aggregate marks in Physics and Mathematics will be used to create the merit list. In the event of a tie, the candidate with the highest Mathematics score will be given preference. Following that, Chemistry grades will be considered. In the event that chemistry marks are similar, applicants with higher marks in Physics and Mathematics at intermediate level/qualifying examination would be given preference. If all of the aforementioned possibilities are equal, older applicants will be given precedence. |
Pharmacy | Candidates who applied for the Pharmacy course will be placed on a merit list based on their performance in Physics and Chemistry. In the event of a tie, candidates who scored higher in Chemistry will be given greater weight. If a tie still exists, the candidate with the better aggregate marks in Physics and Chemistry at the intermediate level will be selected first. Candidates that score well in Chemistry will be prioritised on the Merit List. Ties will be broken on the basis of age as a last resort, with applicants born earlier being put higher in the sequence. |
Architecture | After the exam is completed, a provisional merit list will be released. The merit list for Bachelor in Architecture will be prepared using the combined marks earned in GCET and the qualifying examination. Both marks will be examined in a 1:1 ratio, with each receiving 50%. In the event of a tie, the candidate with the highest NATA score will be favoured, followed by candidates with high Mathematics scores. |

There are a few hundred different engineering specialities accessible in engineering universities or colleges around the world. Every day, a new branch of engineering emerges from its parent discipline. It’s a never-ending process.
Every branch of engineering has its own significance and application in its own field. Only a few of them have progressed more than others over the centuries, depending on the needs of business and society at large. However, every branch of engineering has its own application areas, and all branches are equally important. It is critical to comprehend and accept this since some students and their parents have misconceptions about it.
For each job category and engineering discipline, different skill sets are required. While part of the specific skill set will be created as they progress through their
institutional syllabus and training, it is critical that the student investigates their alignment with their present skill set when filling the choice of seats for the engineering field.
Coding, software development, data science, artificial intelligence, Autocad, and photoshop are some of the skills that all engineering students should learn. Apart from the skills listed above, all engineers, regardless of their profession or functional area, require the following abilities to execute their duties.
Problem-solving | Computer handling |
Pressure/stress management | Teamwork |
Punctuality | Communication |
Fulfilment of task/commitment | Budgeting |
Industry skill | Flexibility |
Creativity | Leadership |
When a student is preparing and writing for the GCET engineering exam, it is critical to determine whether they have an engineering mind or are merely writing the exam because others are. Many engineers later decide that they dislike their occupation and attempt to change careers. As a result, having the mindset to accept engineering as a vocation is critical when taking the GCET engineering exam. All other specialised abilities required to accomplish the engineering career he or she desires can be gained over time.
Nowadays, there are several hundred technical fields to choose from. Jobs in engineering and related fields include the following:
