Delhi Police Constable selection procedure consists of the following three stages:
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will hold Computer Based Examination mode across the country. The Computer Based Examination (CBE) will consist of an objective type paper with 100 questions worth 100 marks.

Those candidates who qualify in the race will then appear in the long jump and then the high jump. They need to clear the long jump and high jump in any one of the three chances given to them. They are not allowed to make any appeal against disqualification in the race, long jump, and/or high jump.

The female candidates, who are pregnant at the time of PE & MT, will not be allowed to participate in the physical endurance test. Their test will be conducted after “the period of confinement”, and until then, the results of such candidates will be kept unbroken in a sealed cover.
