SBI Clerk is a national-level banking exam held every year by the State Bank of India to recruit candidates for Clerical cadre/Junior Associate positions in various SBI departments across the country. The SBI Clerk exam has two stages of selection: Prelims and Mains. The final selection of candidates is based on the results of these exams.
Aspirants who pass the Prelims exam will be eligible to take the Mains exam. The State Bank of India (SBI) holds an annual recruitment programme to hire qualified candidates for Clerical cadre/Junior Associate positions in various customer-service-related jobs. The SBI Clerk exam 2022 notification will be released in August 2022 (tentatively), and the exam dates will be announced alongside the SBI Clerk notification for 2022.

The SBI Clerk Notification 2022 for Junior Associates (Customer Support and Sales) will be released by the State Bank of India in August 2022. The notification will be updated in the below post as soon as the official notification is released on the official website of SBI i.e. http://sbi.co.in/.
The SBI Clerk Exam is highly competitive as millions of candidates appear for the exam. In the year 2020, around 16 lakh students appeared for the SBI Clerk exam for approximately 5,000 vacancies. The SBI Clerk selection process will be done in three phases:
The three stages of the SBI Clerk exam are explained below to help candidates plan their study schedules.
The final results are based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the SBI Clerk Mains exam. The bank prepares a merit list shortlisting the candidates for final allocation. The allotment of posts to candidates is done based on the preferences selected by the candidates at the time of application.

SBI Clerk Prelims is a computer-based exam with multiple-choice questions from three sections. The total time duration of the exam is one hour, where candidates get twenty minutes for each section. Candidates have to attempt 100 questions.
SBI Clerk Preliminary Examination comprises 100 questions with a total mark of 100 and a time duration of 60 minutes. This paper will be objective in nature. The SBI Junior Associate syllabus for preliminary examination includes 3 sections:

Last year the SBI Clerk Prelims Exam was conducted in August 2021, and lakhs of banking aspirants took the SBI Clerk Prelims Exam 2021 were eager to know the prelims cut off to qualify for the Mains.

To meet the age criteria of the SBI Clerk exam, a candidate should not be below 20 years and not above 28 years as of 01 April 2022, which means the candidate must have been born not earlier than 02 April 1993 and not later than 01 April 2001 (both days inclusive).

As of 16 August 2021, the candidate must hold a valid degree in any discipline from a recognised university.
There is no limit to the number of attempts.
The SBI Clerk Language proficiency test (LPT) is a written examination. The exam will include comprehension, wherein a candidate has to answer a few questions after reading a paragraph/passage based on a specific topic. This passage/paragraph will be in the language they opted for while filling the application form.
SBI Clerk Prelims admit cards are already released. Earlier, the Pre Exam Training admit card was released and sent to candidates via email. The SBI releases the admit card for the SBI Clerk exam twice, once before the Prelims examination and another one before the Mains examinations.
The SBI Clerk admit card for the Prelims exam has been released by the IBPS on its official website. The candidates who have applied successfully can download their SBI Clerk Prelims admit card.
The SBI Admit Card for the Mains examination is released for successful candidates on 21 September 2021.

Candidates must follow all the instructions, which will be mentioned on the backside of the admit card. The release date for the SBI Clerk Prelims admit card was June 29, 2021. SBI Clerk Prelims Admit Card (for remaining centres) was released on August 17, 2021.
The State Bank of India conducts its SBI Clerk Preliminary and Mains recruitment exams across 178 cities across India. The names of the centres are released with the official notification from the authorities on the official website https://sbi.co.in/careers. The cut-off is the minimum qualifying marks needed to be scored by each candidate in every section to be qualified for the main examination. The cut-off of the exams for each round is different every year. Cut-offs for the SBI Clerk exam are usually declared 20-25 days after the exam is successfully conducted in all states.
Since the SBI Clerk exam is attended by lakhs of candidates, SBI authorities have decide to raise the cut-off to shortlist aspirants for the next stage of selection.
