The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) in Tennessee conducts class 10 exams every year in the months of March and April. These exams aim to assess the student’s knowledge, skills, and attitudes. Approximately 9 to 10 lakh students sit for the TN SSLC exam every year. The SSLC examinations are conducted by the Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE). The board conducts this examination two times in an academic year, such as March/April session and June/July session.

Students who appear for the Tamil Nadu Class 10 exams must know the exam pattern. This will help them prepare for any new changes that may have been made to the exam pattern and help them score better marks.
All students are required to score at least 35 per cent marks in each subject to pass the exams. This is applicable for passing in the compartmental system also. However, marks obtained in the optional subject are not taken into consideration during the final calculation.

The exams for Class 10 TN Board are conducted for 3 hours or 180 minutes each.

The hall tickets for the students of Class 10 are dispatched by the officials of the DGE to all the schools affiliated with the state board. TN board Class 10 admit card will be released in April 2023 tentatively. Students can download the Tamil Nadu Class 10 admit card on the official website by entering their application number and date of birth. The 10th result of Tamil Nadu is released online every year by DGE. There is a separate portal available for the students where they can easily check their 10th result Tamil Nadu using their registration details. All candidates are required to save a copy of their scorecard.
Last year, the TN SSLC result were announced on June 20, 2022, on the official website at 9.30 a.m. The candidates will be able to check their results by providing their registration number and their date of birth.

When the TN Board Class 10 results are announced, students can follow these steps to download Tamil Nadu SSLC Results.
The TN state board exam organising department also conducts the supplementary examination for the students who either were unable to give the exam on the date of the exam or who were unable to pass in one or more exams.
The students will have to apply for supplementary exams using the official website link and the result for these exams can be checked by entering their date of birth and registration number.
The original mark sheets for these exams will be available at the respective schools after the declaration of results. If a student finds any error or wants a re-check done, they can do so by applying for reevaluation.
