The Staff Selection Commission conducts SSC General Duty (GD) Constable exam. It is a national-level exam to recruit candidates for the post of Constable (General Duty) in the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Secretariat Security Force (SSF), and Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles (AR). The exam date for SSC GD 2022-23 exam is January 10 to February 14, 2023.
This recruitment is open to candidates who have completed matriculation/Class 10 and are between the age of 18 to 23 years. The selection process involves a Computer-based Examination, Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST), Medical Exam, and Document Verification. The Staff Selection Commission started releasing the SSC GD 2022 admit card for North-Western, Western, and Madhya Pradesh regions on December 28, 2022, online on its regional official website. However, the hall ticket for all regions has been issued on January 03, 2023. Candidates had to visit the regional website to download their hall tickets.
Furthermore, they must enter the registration number and password/date of birth to download the SSC GD Constable Admit Card 2022. The hall ticket contains the candidate’s details, exam centre name & address, roll number, and exam-related instructions. Aspirants must carry a printout of their hall tickets to the exam centre.
The Commission will soon publish the tentative SSC GD exam answer key online at ssc.nic.in. Moreover, candidates need to enter their login credentials to download the key. The Commission also provides a chance for candidates to raise objections against the tentative answer key by paying the objection fee. Based on those objections, the officials publish the final answer key.
The Staff Selection Commission will announce the SSC GD Constable exam result in March 2023. Aspirants can check the SSC GD Constable result online at ssc.nic.in. The Commission releases the result in the form of a PDF. It contains roll numbers of candidates who have qualified for the next selection stage.
