About Exam

IIM Indore originally offered IPMAT in 2011 for a five-year Integrated Program in Management (IPM), and IIM Rohtak followed suit in 2019. The entrance exams for IIM Rohtak and IIM Indore are held separately. The Association of MBAs in London has accredited the programme (4th and 5th Year). IPM has been steadily developing since its inception, and it is designed for students who want to improve their managerial and leadership skills.

IPM from IIM-Rohtak and IIM Indore is a broad and comprehensive programme that incorporates a management curriculum from graduation through post-graduation. The IPM programme is meant to develop some of the most talented young managers in the world. The entire IPM programme lasts five years and consists of 15 or three terms yearly.

IPMAT Eligibility Criteria 2023

Age Criteria

IPMAT stands for Integrated Programme in Management Aptitude Test, and it is an admission exam held by IIM-Indore and IIM-Rohtak to admit students to the IPM programme. IPM is a 5-year integrated programme in which a candidate can earn both a bachelor’s and master’s degree while enrolled in a single IPM programme. When candidates think of a test, eligibility is the first thing that springs to mind. We’ll go through the IPMAT Exam 2023 eligibility requirements here.

Age Limit

IIM-Indore reserves the right to decide the IPMAT eligibility conditions in terms of equivalence, percentage marks, and the recognition of the qualifying examination, intake, etc.

Candidates from all races and ethnic groups must be under the age of 20 on July 31, 2023.
-For SC/ST and PWD (DA) candidates, an aggregate of at least 55 per cent in Class 10 and 12 is required.
– For OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) and General: Candidates must have received a minimum of 60% in their Class 10 and 12 exams.

Education Qualification

IPMAT- Indore Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must have completed class 12th/HSC or an equivalent examination in 2021, 2022, or 2023 from any accredited school.
  • Candidates in the general/NC-OBC/EWS categories must have received a minimum of 60% in the 10th and 12th grades.
  • Candidates from the SC/ST/PWD categories are offered a 5% relaxation and must have received a minimum of 55 per cent in the 10th and 12th grades.
  • Candidates who have passed their 10th and/or 12th grades through international boards such as IGCSE and IB (International Baccalaureate) are also eligible to apply.

Students can only attempt IPMAT once a year.

Study Plan to Maximise Score

The IPMAT 2023 application is completed entirely online. To complete and submit the IPMAT application form 2023 online, follow the instructions below:

  • IPMAT application forms must be submitted online by all qualified candidates.
  • The IPMAT application form is available on IIM Indore’s official website.
  • The IPMAT application fee is non-refundable and non-transferable and must be paid online.
  • For candidates in the General, EWS, and NC-OBC categories, the IPMAT application cost is Rs. 4,130/- (Rupees Four Thousand One Hundred Thirty Only) inclusive of GST.
  • The IPMAT 2023 application cost is Rs.2,065/- (Rupees Two Thousand Sixty-five Only) for SC, ST, and PwD applicants, including GST.
  • Candidates from the NCOBC, SC, ST, and PwD categories must present authentic certificates to prove their reservation status.
  • Economically Weaker Sections (EWSs) candidates will also receive a reservation benefit. Candidates for EWSs must present a legal document proving their eligibility to apply under the EWSs category.
  • Once the IPMAT application form has been submitted, no changes to the category will be considered.

Process of Filling the IPMAT 2023 Application Form:

Candidates can complete the application form by following the procedures below:

  • Visit IIM Indore’s official website
  • Click on the IPMAT 2023 registration link.
  • The candidate must create a user ID and password.
  • The candidate will also receive a User ID and password via registered email and SMS.
  • After that, the candidate must re-login with the same credentials.
  • The next step is to fill out the application form with the relevant information. Candidates must double-check their information because it cannot be modified later.
  • The registration cost can be paid with a credit/debit card or using Net Banking.
  • Candidates who fall into one of the reserved categories must produce authentic, certified certificates proving their status.

IPMAT Exam Pattern 2023

The IPMAT 2023 selection procedure is divided into two stages, as follows:

Exam counselling

On June 2, 2023, the IPMAT admit card was released. The admit cards for IPMAT 2023 were available on the official website. To obtain the admit card, candidates entered their Application Number/User ID and Password in the login box.

An IPMAT 2023 admit card is issued only to those candidates who successfully register for the exam before the registration deadline.  The admit card is only available online at the official website of IIM Indore. IPMAT 2023 was conducted on June 16, 2023.

How to Download IPMAT Admit Card 2023?

To obtain the admission card, follow the processes outlined below: Until the IPM AT exam day, the IPMAT hall ticket for the IIM Indore-IPM 2023 entrance examination can be downloaded from the official IPM AT exam website.

  • Go to the IPM AT 2023 link for admit card download and click on it.
  • To access the IPMAT 2023 hall ticket download process, enter IPMAT 2023 application number/user id and password.
  • Before accessing the IPMAT admission card 2023 download link, IIM Indore recommends deleting the History, Cache, and TEMP files.

  • At least one original (not scanned) legitimate (not expired) photo identity card and a photocopy of the original ID should also be supplied. Please remember that only the ID proofs for which a copy has been supplied with the application form are valid.

IPMAT Result 2023

Exam talks

The IPMAT 2023 result has been declared on July 5, 2023. The IPMAT 2023 exam was conducted on June 16, 2023, for admission to its five-year integrated management programme. IPMAT result was announced on IIM Indore’s official website. By entering their login credentials in the result window, candidates can see their IPMAT exam results.

Candidates’ scores and percentiles in each area of the question paper and their aggregate scores and percentile have been listed on the scorecard. Candidates have been shortlisted for further rounds of the Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview based on their IPMAT scores (PI).

How to Check IPMAT Result 2023?

Following the processes below, candidates can check their IPMAT 2023 results:

  • Visit the official website for more information.
  • On the homepage, select the ‘Results’ tab.
  • Enter the number of the application form.
  • Enter the registered email address or the DD/MM/YYYY.
  • Please enter the security code.
  • Select the ‘Get Status’ option from the drop-down menu.
  • On the screen, the IPMAT 2023 result will show.
  • Take a printout of the same after downloading it.

Candidates must keep the printout of their results safe until the admissions procedure is completed. The maximum and minimum scores represent the candidate’s highest and lowest scores in each section. The results of the IPMAT 2023 will determine whether or not the test-taker is eligible for WAT and PI. Candidates who have been shortlisted must attend the WAT-PI rounds in one of eight locations: Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Kolkata, and Mumbai.

After the declaration of the IPMAT 2023 result, the successful test takers are shortlisted for the Personal Assessment (PA) round by IIM Indore. The personal assessment is based either on a Personal Interview (PI) or a Video Based Assessment (VBA). The admissions committee decides the process in due course of time.

The IPM 2023-28 Batch candidates will be selected based on overall performance in IPM Aptitude Test (IPM AT) – 2023 and Personal Assessment. Any candidate who fails to appear either in AT or does not comply with Personal Assessment guidelines shall not be considered for selection.

IPMAT Cutoff 2023

About Exam

Only candidates with positive raw scores and minimum marks in each of the three components of the Aptitude Test are considered for shortlisting for Personal Assessment (PA).

  • The Admissions Committee determines the minimum cut-off score in each section.
  • The minimal cut-off mark in each section is determined by the applicant categories.
  • Applicants who are denied will not receive individual regret letters.

Calculation of Composite Score in IPMAT 2023 Exam Pattern

IIM Indore has updated the score-calculating formula for IPMAT 2023. The following is the revised score computation procedure for the IPM-AT 2023 Composite Score:

  • 25 x (Candidate’s Score — Min. Score)/(Max. Score — Min. Score) in the Quantitative Ability (MCQ) Section
  • Quantitative Ability Score (SA) Section: 25 x (Candidate’s Score — Minimum Score)/(Maximum Score — Minimum Score)
  • Verbal Ability Score 50 x (Candidate’s Score — Minimum Score)/(Maximum Score — Minimum Score)
  • Score on an aptitude test (ATS) The total of the aforementioned scores

Candidates with the highest scores in each area will be shortlisted for Personal Assessment based on the aforementioned Composite Score (PA). The PA round may include a video-based assessment (VBA) or a personal interview (PI), as determined by the Admissions Committee. The maximum and minimum scores are the highest and lowest marks obtained by candidates from the qualifying pool in respective parts.
