The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has announced the VITEEE exam dates for 2022. The VITEEE registration 2022 has started, and interested candidates can register before June 15, 2022. Earlier, the last date for submission of online application forms was May 30, 2022. The VITEEE exam 2022 will be conducted from June 30 to July 6, 2022, via a computer-based test (CBT). After the final submission and verification of applications, candidates will be able to book exam slots from the official website. VIT releases VITEEE notification 2022 on the official website - vit.ac.in. VITEEE exams have been revised to be scheduled from June 30 to July 6, 2022.
The authorities made the forms for VITEEE registration 2022 available from December 2, 2021. The last date to submit the application form for the VITEEE exam 2022 is extended to June 15, 2022.
The application form for VITEEE 2022 is available to the applicants online. VIT released the application forms for VITEEE 2022 on their official website. The Vellore Institute of Technology, formerly called the Vellore Engineering College, is one of the best and most popular private institutes for engineering across the country. For two consecutive years, VIT has been declared the best private engineering college in India by the Ministry of Human Resources and Development. It is also ranked 14th among all the universities in the country. More than 2 lakh students have appeared for VITEEE in the past two years.
VIT was established in 1984 with only 180 students. Now it has developed into a vast university with multiple campuses. There are four campuses of VIT in India, Vellore, Chennai, Andhra Pradesh (Amravati), and Madhya Pradesh (Bhopal). It offers various undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes to students. Steps to fill out the online application form for VITEEE 2022
There are mainly five steps to fill the VITEEE 2022 application form through online mode. Applicants willing to register online for VITEEE 2022 can refer to the points below:

1st Step: Registration | At the beginning of the VITEEE 2022 application form, the applicant has to register himself/herself by providing all the relevant and required details on the website (www.vit.ac.in). After this, the applicant will receive a password on their registered email ID and phone number. Furthermore, all the communication regarding the exam will be sent to the applicant on the same email ID and phone number. Hereafter, any request for a change in email ID/phone number/correspondence address will not be entertained under any circumstances. |
2nd Step: Confirmation of password | In this step, the applicant/candidate has to log in to ‘Registered users’ with their email ID and the password that they have received from the main university on their registered email ID and phone number. |
3rd Step: Filling out the application form | In this step, the candidate has to enter all the relevant details carefully before submitting the VITEEE application form. After this, an application number will be generated for the candidates. Candidates are supposed to refer to this application number for all future correspondences. |
4th Step: Photo and signature upload | In this step, candidates have to upload their most recently scanned photograph and signature as per the specifications mentioned by the authorities. 5th Step: Payment | In the last step of the application form, the candidate must pay the application fees via Techprocess Payment Gateway or via net banking/credit/debit card. Steps to fill the offline application form for VITEEE 2022
The Vellore Institute of Technology, which is the exam conducting authority for VITEEE 2022, will also release the offline application form. Candidates can submit the duly-filled application form at the designated exam centres.

1st Step: Issue of application forms - OMR (Optical Mark Reader) | The application form, a printed self-addressed envelope, the prospectus, and the information brochure for the B.Tech programme can be obtained against cash payment from the post offices as given on the VIT website. |
2nd Step: Completing the OMR sheet | Candidates are supposed to fill the information in the application carefully in their own handwriting. They should fill out the form in English only. Before filling out the form, read the instructions carefully given in the brochure. Any request for correction in the entered data will not be entertained under any circumstances. The candidate should make a photocopy/xerox of the form and use it for practice. Only the original OMR form should be sent. The candidate should note down the 10-digit application number for future reference. |
3rd Step: Returning the completed OMR application form | The completed VITEEE 2022 application form should be inserted in the envelope provided. It needs to be sent either by registered post or speed post in the self-addressed envelope provided by VIT. Before dispatching the application form, candidates should ensure that they have filled in the correct test city code, subject, and tick the checklist on the envelope provided. The application form, once sold, will not be taken back under any circumstances nor will the application fee be refunded in any case, so candidates must enter all the details properly. |
4th Step: Receipt of completed OMR application form | The candidate should check the last date for receipt of the OMR completed application form on the VIT website. Any application received after the last date will not be accepted by the institute. VIT will not be responsible for any postal delay, irregularity, or loss in postal transit. The candidate should not enclose any document with the application form. If the candidate is applying online, then he/she is not supposed to send the application through post. |

Candidates appearing for the VITEEE exam 2022 should know the exam syllabus for cracking the exam on the first attempt. The syllabus is similar to Classes 11 and 12 (PCMB) of CBSE and Tamil Nadu State Board of Higher Secondary Examinations. The syllabus for VITEEE 2022 is out on the official website, and students can refer to the same.
The students can understand the topic coverage from the syllabus. The question paper will be set from the prescribed syllabus only, and VIT releases the extensive details every year before the examination. Applicants scoring 118 and above will be considered between the 1 and 250 rank range. Applicants with less than 31 marks will be ranked around 20,000 or below. Only the first 20,000 rank holders will be invited for counselling Phase-1.

How to Check VITEEE Result 2022?
These are the steps to check the VITEEE result 2022:
The Vellore Institute of Technology will announce the results for VITEEE 2022 on their official website –vit.ac.in. Candidates can visit the website right away to check out the results.
The candidates who qualify based on their rank obtained for the VITEEE 2022 exam will be able to participate in the VITEEE counselling. The counselling will be based on the rank of the candidates and their preference of campus/programme. The major courses that the students can take after clearing VITEEE are B.Tech, B.Des, and Fashion Technology. Candidates can register for the counselling and complete the document verification process to be able to lock their choices. On completing the counselling round, candidates are allotted seats for admission to one of the VIT campuses.

1st Step: Check the VITEEE rank
VIT releases the VITEEE counselling dates for the 2022 exam depending on the range of ranks scored by applicants. Hence, candidates must be aware of the rank secured in the examination. The VITEEE 2022 result is announced along with the rank list.
2nd Step: Registration
As VITEEE counselling 2022 is administered online, candidates must complete online registration first. During this time, candidates will have to fill out the form and mention the category, course preference, and campus of their preference.
