Reproduction is the process by which animals give birth to their young ones. Animals such as cows, dogs, elephants, and mice give birth to babies. Human beings also give birth to babies. Birds, lizards, and most snakes lay eggs from which babies hatch. Most plants have seeds that give rise to new plants. Some plants can also be grown from their stems, roots, or leaves.

Plants take in carbon dioxide from atmosphere through the tiny pores found in the leaves, these pores are called stomata. Plants exchange gases through these pores, they also release water in the form of water vapour through these.

Chlorophyll is a green pigment present in all green plants. Leaves have chlorophyll. This pigment gives them a green colour and helps them make their own food by the process called photosynthesis.
