Energy gets always transferred from one form to another. Electrical iron is one such equipment where electrical energy gets converted into heat energy.

Dynamo is commonly used in a power station to generate electricity. The change in the magnetic field produces current. Thus, in this equipment, mechanical energy gets converted into electrical energy.

Photocell absorbs energy from the sun and converts into electrical energy. Thus, in this device, light energy gets transformed into electrical energy. These kinds of cells are used as a source of electricity in satellites.

In an electrical pump, the electrical energy gets converted into potential energy.

In a wind clock, a certain amount of work has to be done mechanically to wind the key in the clock. This energy required to wind the key is the mechanical energy, and it gets converted into potential energy as the mechanical energy given remains in the clock in a stored form.

Cells or batteries have chemicals stored in it. With the chemical reaction taking place in the cells, the energy released is used and is converted into electrical energy. Thereby it can glow the bulb connected to it.
