Banyan and mango are big and strong plants known as trees. Sunflower and grass are small and weak plants known as herbs. Tulsi and rose are small and strong plants known as shrubs.

Shrubs are plants that are small and strong. They are woody plants that are smaller than a tree and have several main stems arising at or near the ground.

Some plants cannot grow straight on their own as they have weak stems. They need a support of a wall, stick or other plants. They are called climbers. Two examples of climbers are: Money plant Pea plant
