Breathing is the process of moving air out and in the lungs to facilitate gas exchange with the internal environment. Cells use oxygen to break down sugar and obtain energy. The involuntary reflex of opening one's mouth wide and inhaling deeply is due to tiredness. We yawn in the following conditions: When there is a lack of oxygen supply to the brain, then the brain induces a yawn. When a person is tired, he or she will not breathe properly. So, the oxygen intake will be low, then we yawn. And that will help to bring back more oxygen into the blood and releases the carbon dioxide out of the blood.
