Bioweapons are microorganisms that infect and grow in the host, producing disease that kills or incapacitates the target host. They are used as weapons to destroy living organisms. Toxins like ricin, botulin, and staphylococcal enterotoxin can also be used as bioweapons to create bioterrorism.
