You have to assume everything in the statement to be true, then consider the two conclusions together and decide which of them logically follows beyond a reasonable doubt from the information given in the statement.
Statement: Population increase coupled with depleting resources is going to be the scenario for many developing countries in days to come.
Conclusions:
$\mathrm{I}.$ The population of developing countries will not continue to increase in future.
$\mathrm{II}.$ It will be very difficult for the governments of developing countries to provide their people with a decent quality of life.

Statements: The national norm is 100 beds per thousand population but in this State, 150 beds per thousand are available in the hospitals.

Conclusions I: Our national norm is appropriate.

                    II: The State’s health system is taking adequate care in this regard.

Statements: The party president has directed that no member of the party will give press briefing or interviews to government and private TV channels about the discussion in scheduled meeting of the party.

Conclusions I: Party members will observe this directive of the president.

                    II: The general public will not come to know about the happenings in the scheduled meeting of the party.

The following question has a statement followed by two conclusions. Taking the statement to be true, decide which of the given conclusions definitely follows from the given statement.

Statements:
This world is neither good nor evil; each man manufactures a world for himself.

Conclusions
I: Some people find this world quite good.
II: Some people find this quite bad.

Statements: From the next academic year, students will have the option of dropping Mathematics and Science for their school-leaving certificate examination.

Conclusions I: Students who are weak in Science and Mathematics will be benefited.

                    II: Earlier students did not have the choice of continuing their education without taking these subjects.

Statements: Company X has a record of manufacturing cameras of quality and the latest design so that you do not spoil even a single shot irrespective of the weather conditions.

Conclusions I: No other company except X is reputed in the camera industry.

                    II: Anyone can take an acceptable shot with camera X.

Statements: A large majority of the work force in India is unorganised. Most of them earn either the minimum or uncertain wages while others are engaged in sundry jobs.

Conclusions I: The workers in the organised sector get better facilities and stay longer in their jobs.

                    II: Some workers in the unorganised sector of the work force have a regular and fixed income.

Statements: Multinational fast food chains have reached India with great difficulty, but the farmers’ associations are not ready to accept them.

Conclusions I: Farmers’ associations are opposing modernisation 

                    II: Farmers’ associations do not wish to enter into competition with the multinationals.
