My grandparents went to school on foot. They used a bucket and a rope to get water out of a well for their daily uses. Sports and arts like singing, dancing and acting were their sources of entertainment.

I go to school on a motor vehicle. We use an electric water pump to get the water for daily needs. Sport, television and Internet are my sources of entertainment. There is a difference in terms of energy in these activities compared to my grandparents activities. All the energy they used is generated from within. The energy required for most of my activities is derived from electricity and fuels such as petrol and diesel.
