So, considering the two arms and vertex of the angle, we can name the angle as $∠ M N O$ or $∠ O N M$ .

The instrument used to measure an angle is a protractor.

To measure the given angle, place the midpoint of the protractor on the point $N$ of $∠ O N M$ and align the line segment $O N$ on the zero line of the protractor as shown below.

Since, point $O$ is on the $0$ mark on the left side of the protractor, use the outer measurements of the protractor to find the measure of the given angle.

The numbers on the protractor are the degree measure of the angles made by these lines with the bottom line marked $0$ .

From, the protractor we can see that line segment $N M$ is lying between $110 °$ and $120 °$ . $N M$ actually lies on the midpoint between $110 ° & 120 °$ .

Hence, the measure of $∠ O N M$ is $115 °$ .

We know that the angles measuring between $90 °$ and $180 °$ are called obtuse angles.
