White light is made up of its seven constituents' colours. When white light passes through a prism, each colour deviates at a different angle and a band of seven colours is formed. The red light has the minimum frequency, so it will bend the most while passing through the prism.The violet light has the maximum frequency, so it will bend the least while passing through the prism. Draw VIBGYOR means seven lines indicating seven colours VIBGYORIt will represent a rainbow. Red will be at the bottom and violet at the top.
