Hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, sulphuric acid, etc., are examples of the strongest acids. Citric acid, tartaric acid, lactic acid, etc., are examples of the weakest acids.

Strong bases dissociate completely in solution and release more hydroxide ions. Sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, calcium hydroxide, etc., are examples of the strongest bases. They are corrosive in nature and can burn skin. Weak bases do not dissociate completely in solution and release less hydroxide ions compared to the strong bases. Magnesium hydroxide and copper hydroxide are examples of weak bases.
