Amazon Basin

The Amazon Basin is a region of South America with a tropical rainforest climate. It has year-round high temperatures and significant rainfall, with just minor seasonal temperature variations. High humidity is a characteristic of the equatorial environment.

The wet season (November to June) and the dry season (July to October) are the two main seasons in the area. Heavy rains and flooding are frequent throughout the rainy season, which adds to the Amazon rainforest's lushness and biodiversity.

Ganga-Brahmaputra Basin

The monsoon climate predominates in the Ganga-Brahmaputra Basin, also referred to as the Ganges-Brahmaputra Basin, which is located in the Indian subcontinent. The area has considerable seasonal fluctuations in both precipitation and temperature. Winter (December to February), pre-monsoon or summer (March to May), monsoon or rainy season (June to September), and post-monsoon or autumn (October to November) are the four main seasons that make up the climate.

The Ganga-Brahmaputra Basin has high rainfall during the monsoon season, which in certain places results in flooding. This promotes agriculture and increases the land's fertility. Wintertime, on the other hand, features dry and chilly weather.
