The speed-time graph of a car of 1000 kg mass is given. On the basis of this, answer the following question: Find the acceleration of the car during each of the first two interval of four seconds each.

In the first 4 second interval, the car is accelerating Acceleration = final velocity - initial velocity time So, here a = 20 - 0 4 = 5 m / s 2 In the second 4 second interval, the car is moving with constant velocity, so there is no acceleration Therefore, the acceleration is 0 m s - 2 .
