The Earth’s tilt is responsible for the occurrence of seasons on Earth.

If the Earth's axis had a tilt of $90 °$ then the season will be different as it will be extreme either extreme cold or extremely hot. The day to day weather will be different. The Earth's pole would point directly at the sun at a point on the track around the sun. One pole will be extremely hot and the other pole will be extremely cold. The sun would rise in the northern Earth sky and set in the south.
