In household – Most of the gadgets used to make our household chores easy run on electricity. We use a microwave oven for cooking, refrigerator for storing food, washing machine for washing clothes, etc.

In entertainment – All the modern sources of entertainment run on electricity. The MP3 players used for listening to music, the television we see to watch the news, sports or movies, etc. all require electricity to operate.

In schools – Electricity is very important to impart quality education at school. A lot of lab equipment runs on electricity. Electricity is required for the functioning of the audio-visual aids.

In healthcare – Electricity is very essential for most of the medical equipment to work properly. Machines like X-ray machines, MRI machines, etc. won’t work without electricity.

Outdoors – The lights on the roads need electricity to function. Public pools also have electronic automatic cleaners and heaters.
