Rotational Motion
Rotational Motion: Overview
This topic describes the characteristics of the rotational motion. A rotation is an object's circular motion around a rotational centre. One can also rotate a three-dimensional object around an infinite number of imaginary lines called rotation axes.
Important Questions on Rotational Motion
A heavy small mass is attached to one end of string whose other end is fixed on a cylinder which can rotate about an axis. Show that the point mass continuously, speeds up as the string uncoils.
