The cell is the basic structural and functional unit of every living organism. Cells can be seen through a scientific instrument called a microscope. Cells can be of different shapes- Round, flat, long, or even shapeless. Animal cells are mostly round in shape, plant cells are cube-shaped. Amoeba is irregular, Paramecium is slipper-shaped and cells like bacteria have different shapes based on their type, for example, Streptococcus is round while Bacilli is rod-shaped, etc. Hence, we can say that different living organisms have different shapes of cells.
