Any point on the Cartesian plane is represented in the form of $(x, y)$ . Here, $x$ is the distance of the point from the y-axis and $y$ is the distance from the x-axis.

The coordinate plane usually features many horizontal and vertical lines that make it look like a grid. These lines are usually evenly spaced and are marked by numbers. The distance represented by the space between two of these lines is known as the scale. Scale should be constant throughout the graph.

In the given graph, on y-axis, distance between $0$ and $- 1$ is more than the distance between $0$ and $1$ o. Also on x-axis, the distance between $- 6$ and $- 7$ s more than the distance between $6$ and $7$ . Since the numbers are not marked at equal distances. Hence, this is the error in graph.
