Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, Dogri, Gujarati, Hindi, Malayalam, Nepali, Punjabi, Odia (Oriya), Kannada, Kashmiri, Konkani, Maithili, Manipuri, Marathi, Sanskrit, Santali, Urdu, Sindhi, Tamil and Telugu are the $22$ official languages.
