2. Scouring: This is the process of washing the fleece of sheep to remove dust, dirt, sweat, grease, etc. and moved on for further process.

3. Sorting: After scouring, on the basis of its quality wool is separated or sorted into various categories. Only the fleece of long and fine quality is sent to the factory for further processes.

4. Combing: The fleece is then combed to remove the burrs. This process of removing the tiny knots from the fleece is called combing.

5. Dyeing: The fibres obtained after combing are dyed in various colours because the natural colour of the fleece of sheep is black, brown or white.

6. Spinning: The fibres are spun or twisted together to make yarn after straightening. These wool yarns are either knitted or woven to make various types of woollen clothes.
