Let the first part be $₹ x$ .

Second part $= ₹ (12000 - x)$

We have, $SI = \frac{P \times R \times T}{100}$

SI on $x$ at $6 %$ per annum for $2$ years $= \frac{x \times 6 \times 2}{100}$

$= \frac{3 x}{25}$

SI on $(12000 - x)$ at $8 %$ per annum $= \frac{(12000 - x) \times 8 \times 3}{100}$

$= \frac{72000 - 6 x}{25}$

From the given condition,

$\Rightarrow \frac{3 x}{25} = \frac{72000 - 6 x}{25} \Rightarrow 3 x \times 25 = 25 (72000 - 6 x) \Rightarrow 75 x = 1800000 - 150 x \Rightarrow 75 x + 150 x = 1800000 \Rightarrow 225 x = 1800000 \Rightarrow x = \frac{1800000}{225} = 8000$

And

$\Rightarrow (12000 - x) = (12000 - 8000) = 4000$

Hence, first part $= ₹ 8000$ and second part $= ₹ 4000$ .
