Transfer of zygote into fallopian tube

ZIFT stands for Zygote intra-fallopian transfer. It is an assisted reproductive technology in which the Zygote is formed in vitro and is introduced in the fallopian tube by laparoscopy. The zygote continues its natural divisions and migrates towards the uterus where it gets implanted.
