1. Pharynx: It is commonly known as the throat which acts as a passage for air and food to the larynx and esophagus respectively. 2. Larynx: It is commonly known as the sound box which is primarily responsible for the production of sound. 3. Trachea: It acts as a airway passage leading from the larynx to the bronchi. 4. Ribcage: It is a bony structure which is responsible for the protection of the heart and the lungs. 5. Pleural cavity: It is the space eclosed by a thin layer of tissue called pleura which forms a lining around the lungs and the interior wall of the chest cavity. 6. Left lung: It is a respiratoy organ which is located on the left side within the thoracic cavity of the chest. 7. Pleural membrane: It is a thin two-layered serous membrane which orms a lining around the lungs and the interior wall of the chest cavity. 8. Diaphragm: It is a large respiratory muscle which is located below the lungs and is responsible for rhythmic contraction and relaxation during the process of breathing. 9. Heart: It is the primary muscular organ of the circulatory system which is responsible for pumping blood throughout the body. 10. Right lung: It is a respiratoy organ which is located on the right side within the thoracic cavity of the chest. 11. Right main bronchus: It is the primary bronchus which branches from the trachea and acts as a short but wide airway passage into the right lungs.
