A researcher writes a well organized report of his/ her study after the data have been interpreted. It includes a statement of the problem, a review of the literature, the objectives of the statement and hypotheses, survey, and sources of data and tools and techniques for data collection, analysis and interpretation of data, and finally the conclusions reached and a bibliography. Its writing needs the highest level of scholarship on the part of the researcher. It is a matter of expositional strategy which calls for creativity, apart from the qualities of imagination and ingenuity. In his/ her style of writing, the research report, the researcher must be elegant and objective.
