The steps of construction are:
(i) Draw a rough sketch of $A B C$ .

(ii) Draw a line segment $B C$ of length $5.3 cm$ .

(iii) Draw a ray $∠ B = 70 °$ such that $∠ P B C = 70 °$ .

(iv) With $B$ as centre and radius $4 cm$ , draw an arc intersecting ray $\vec{B P}$ at a point $A$ .

(v) Join $A$ with $C$ . $△ A B C$ is the required triangle.

Now, the steps of construction of the perpendicular bisector on the side $A C$ is given below:

(i) Take the radius of more than half of the line segment $A C$ and with $A$ as centre, draw two arcs above and below the line segment.

(ii) With the same radius and taking $C$ as centre, draw another two arcs intersecting the previous arc at points $R$ and $S$ .

(iii) Join $R$ and $S$ .

Thus, we obtain $R S$ is the perpendicular bisector of line segment $A C$ at the point $T$ .
