Cube and cuboid are three-dimensional shapes which consist of six faces, eight vertices and twelve edges. The primary difference between them is a cube has all its sides equal whereas the length, width and height of a cuboid are different. Both shapes look almost the same but have different properties. A triangular pyramid is a pyramid which has a triangular base. In geometry, vertices are essentially corners. All triangular-based pyramids, either regular or irregular, have four vertices. Pyramids are three-dimensional structures with triangle faces and have an encompassing polygon shape at its base. If the base of a pyramid is rectangular, then it is called a rectangular pyramid. A cone is a shape formed by using a set of line segments or the lines which connects a common point, called the apex or vertex, to all the points of a circular base(which does not contain the apex). A cylinder is a three-dimensional solid that holds two parallel bases joined by a curved surface, at a fixed distance. These bases are normally circular in shape and the center of the two bases are joined by a line segment. A three-dimensional geometric shape having a square base and four triangular faces/sides that meet at a single point is called a square pyramid. A triangular prism is a polyhedron, made up of two triangular bases and three rectangular sides. By definition, the two triangular bases are parallel and congruent to each other.
