A flower contains male and female reproductive parts. The male reproductive part of a flower is known as the stamen. It consists of an anther and filament. The oval-shaped structure called the anther contains pollen. The filament is a long stalk-like structure that attaches to the flower base and supports the anther.

A zygote is a diploid cell structure produced by the fertilisation process that involves the union of ovum and sperm. The sex cells or gametes are produced by organisms during sexual reproduction. They are either male or female gametes. Zygote is the product of fusion of the two gametes which undergoes cell division and growth after fertilisation. Ultimately, zygote forms the new individual.

During the germination process, the radicle of a seed is the growing plant embryo that emerges from the seed. In other words, radicle is the first organ to appear when a seed germinates and grows downward into the soil. It is the part of a plant embryo that forms the primary root system.
