Forests are the areas that allow dense growth of trees. They covered one-third of our planet. These forests are natural habitats of many animals and plants. The tropical rainforest is located in the Western and Eastern Ghats in India. They are the equatorial regions of the world. They are characterised by a warm climate and heavy rainfall throughout the year. The leaves present on the trees of Tropical rainforest plants have special tips called drip tips which help the rainwater to slide over from their surface thus protecting the leaf from rotting. The stomata are present on both sides of leaves

A habitat is a place where an organism lives naturally. A habitat has all the environmental conditions that an organism needs to survive. An animal can find and gather, select a mate, and successfully reproduce and survive in its habitat. Estuary comes under the coastal habitat. The estuary is the region where river meets the sea and some unique living organisms such as mangroves and crabs are found here. The Sundarbans Delta spread across West Bengal and Bangladesh is the largest mangrove forest in the world.
