The Battles of Anandpur Sahib: Two battles were fought at Anandpur Sahib, during the first battle Raja Bhim Chand asked Guru Sahib to leave Anandpur or pay rent for his stay. Guru ji resented and refused to comply to his demand. This led to the outbreak of a battle between the two. Other Rajas of hill states also united against the Sikh, as a result he had to leave Anandpur Sahib. In $1704$ C.E another battle ensued at Anandpur Sahib. The hill rajas killed forty Sikh soldiers and Mata Gujri was badly injured. Finally, Guru Sahib decided to leave Anandpur.

Battle of Nirmoh: Bhim Chand seeked help from Mughals to defeat Guru ji. As a result , the subedar of Sirhind attacked Nirmoh. However, Guru Gobind Singh's army resisted valiantly against the Sikhs. However, Guruji left Nimroh after the battle and advanced towards the Satluj rivers. However, he was attacked by the enemies again.

The Battles of Basauli and Shahi Tibbi: Bhim Chand's army followed Guruji till Basauli but was defeated again. Hence, they decided to a sign a treaty with Guru ji. At Shahi Tibbi, Guruji's enemies decided to capture Anandpur Sahib, Guruji sent Uday Singh to fight on behalf of the Sikhs.

The Battle of Khidrana: A large number of Sikhs joined Guru ji by the time he reached Khidrana. forty soldiers were matryred during this battle. It was fought between the Mughal army and the Sikhs. The region was later renamed as Muktsar to commemorate the death of the forty soldiers.
