The type of reproduction which happens in humans are sexual reproduction in which the fusion of male and female gamete take place.Following are the stages of reproduction in human being.

The fusion of ovum and sperm take place which result in the production of single cell called zygote and the process is called as fertilisation.

Zygote develop into many cells by the process of cleavage, and the group of cells is transferred from fallopian tube to the uterus to get implanted and the process is called implantation.

The divided cells form a chunk of ball cells called embryo, this is the stage were the embryo starts to grow its organs and organ system using mother's blood.

The foetus stay and grows in mother's womb for more or less 40 weeks and gets nourishment from mother by placenta and this period is called gestation period.

The fully grown baby exerts pressure on the uterine walls and the wall contract in order to push the baby out the womb, and this process is called parturition
