For this, let us do the following steps:

a) Draw a ray $\vec{Q R}$ .

b) Place the centre of the protractor at the point $Q$ in such a way that its straight edge or zero edge coincides with the ray $\vec{Q R}$ .

c) To make an angle of $80 °$ at $Q$ , you have to use the inner scale of the protractor to the right of point $R$ .

d) Thus, mark a point $P$ at the $80 °$ point of the protractor.

e) Take out the protractor and join $\vec{P Q}$ as shown in the figure below:

$∠ P Q R$ is the required angle whose measure is $80 °$ .

Now, we have to draw bisector of angle $∠ P Q R$ .

For this let us do the following steps (Look at the figure below):

a) In $∠ P Q R$ , take $Q$ as centre and using compass draw an arc cutting $Q R$ and $P Q$ at points $A$ and $B$ respectively.

b) With $B$ as centre and radius more than half of $A B$ , draw an arc.

c) With $A$ as centre and the same radius taken in step (b), draw another arc cutting the previous arc at point $C$ .

d) Join points $Q$ and $C$ and extend the line to any point $D$ .

Ray $\vec{Q D}$ is the required angle bisector of $∠ P Q R$ .
