Steps for construction:

By using a ruler and compass,

Draw a line and mark a point $A$

Taking $A$ as the centre and with any suitable radius, draw an arc $PQ$ cutting $BC$ at $P and Q .$

Taking $P$ and $Q$ as the centres and with any convenient radius, draw arcs intersecting each other at $D$ .

Step $1$ : Draw an angle of $90 °$ .

Step $2$ : Taking $Q$ as a centre and a radius more than half of $QR$ , draw an arc

Step $3$ : Taking $R$ as the centre and the same radius, draw an arc cutting the previous arc at $E$ .

Step $4$ : Join $A$ and $E$ to get the ray $\vec{AE}$ .

Step $5$ : $\vec{AE}$ is the angular bisector of $∠ DAC$ .

Hence, $∠ DAE = ∠ EAC = 45^{o}$ is the required angle.
