In a democratic system, it is expected that there must be no discrimination on the grounds such as caste, gender, race, etc. Each and every citizen of the country must be treated in the same way. All persons in a country should be treated equally before the law and if someone is not satisfied with the law, they can appear in court for justice.

Many people in the country consider themselves superior to others; this should not be accepted in a democracy because equality and human dignity are the core values in a democracy. There should be no disparity among the people of the country on the economic, as well as, the social basis. This is the only way in which even a single individual can contribute towards the development of a community.
