Human beings adapt to their physical environment using technology. It is not important what citizenry produce and make, but it's extremely important with the assistance of what tools and techniques do they produce and make. Technology indicates the extent of social and cultural development of society. In the early stages of their interaction with the environment, citizenry interacted with the environment with help of primitive technology, hence nature played a dominant role over humans. Human beings were greatly influenced naturally and adapted to the dictates of the character. This type of interaction when human society was at a primitive stage of development and hence adapted itself as per the character is known as the naturalisation of humans also referred to as environmental determinism. This is a stage of naturalised humans, who react to nature's fury by being scared and worshipping it.

All the actions of the citizenry are guided by the character, especially by climate, wild animals and availability of water and edible plants. At this stage thanks to lack of technological advancement and understanding of nature, citizenry aren't ready to loosen the shackles of nature and hence follow it and all their actions are guided by nature. This type of interaction can still be seen in tribal societies whose daily routine is well-knit with the natural processes and their lives revolve around the natural phenomenon. For example; Tribals depend on the edible plants and the parts they get from nature, some hunter tribes shunt wild animals with help of primitive tools. They depend on nature to draw medicines out of natural plants available. They were scared of the forces of nature and thus, worshipped them to please them. They worshipped trees, forces of nature such as wind, lightning, rain etc, to keep themselves safe from their anger.
